Our client, a Substantial Construction and Housebuilding business, seeks a Management Accountant to join their busy Finance department.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the monthly management accounts for Our Client’s Group Residential Development Companies, their Subsidiaries and Joint Ventures.
• Checking and posting of completion statements as required, both sales and cost of sales
• Cash Flow Reporting
• Sales & Marketing Costs Analysis for Quarterly Budget Process
• Preparation of loan utilisation requests together with supporting information with liaison with Project Monitoring Surveyors
• Invoice shared costs to Joint Venture partners on a monthly basis as required
• Other ad-hoc reporting and financial analysis as required
You are a Qualified Accountant with post-qualified experience gained within the Construction and/or House building sector. You’ll have advanced Excel modelling skills, the ability to interpret, augment and present data in a logical manner and to concisely and clearly present information to both financial and non-financial team members. You have strong organisational and time management skills with ability to prioritise and manage deadlines.
You have project accounting and residential sector experience enabling you to interpret, augment and present data in a logical manner with good communication and presentation skills and a willingness to understand and meet the needs of both internal and external clients in order to build and maintain positive relationships
We are looking for a self-motivated and proactive team player who is prepared to be flexible and responsive. An excellent communicator/influencer – both written and verbal, open-minded with good sense of humour and able to work within a fast paced and changing environment.
